Personal software for the extended mind

We work at the intersection of cognitive engineering, generative design and applied program synthesis. Based in London and founded by Lucas Godfrey, our work builds on research at the University of Edinburgh into the automated generation of software for highly contextual data interactions.

We are building a platform for generatively materialising custom interactive systems around user-defined goals, workflows and concepts, with work in the lab culminating in the development of FlowSynth, the platform that powers our front-end MindSynth experiences.

FlowSynth is a software substrate for generative systems based on an understanding of cognitive agents and computational resources as being active participants in coupled systems. Our work draws on the study of embodied cognition and the extended mind, and aims to empower people to shape highly personalised interactive information systems around their unique goals.
